Position Yourself For Growth

Position yourself for growth in 2017.....

Focus! leadership is making important decisions. To be a good leader don't major in minor things. You must be less distracted than your competition. Have confidence and a clear vision, you must be STRONG! Have swagger and assertiveness but still, have kindness and generosity. Work on building respect by being transparent. Never buy into the concept of being someone you are not! Be 100 percent authentic, and always be passionate about your work. Reflect values don't feel the need to be right. Instead, you should do what’s right. If you focus on becoming authentic in all of your interactions it will then rub off on your business and your culture. Learn to inspire people. A lot of people gave me inspiration and great advice, that’s why I’m always willing to offer motivation—to friends or strangers for that matter. I know the power of inspiration, and if someone can stand on my shoulders to achieve greatness, I’m more than willing to help.

I love what I do. In order to be successful, you must obsess over what you do and let it consume you, day in and day out. You should never be satisfied and always want to do more, bigger, better and greater things. Make sure you lead by example not because you feel like it’s what you should do, but because it is your way of life. #LESFLO You shouldn't separate from what you love. Whether it is by thought, technology, organization, or innovation it is imperative to stay focused. Time will definitely test your commitment to yourself. But remember great things are always tough and you should understand that. Be bold and take the necessary risks. You will find yourself in some uncommon situations, unexpected or challenges. Train your mind to consider the worst-case scenarios and best responses. That's how you monitor situations and avoid others. Be a visionary but make sure you stick to the goals no matter what. Planning is overrated and your commitment should be to invest, develop and maintain great relationships. That's how you create the WIN WIN! My mentor taught me how to make the call first and fast. And if we are personable we are already halfway there. We all are unique to this world, and we can all smell when someone isn’t real. The more I focus on genuine connections with people and look for ways to help them—rather than just focusing on what they can do for me—the more likable and personable I am. And this is required to be respected.

I am not the most talented individual but having people with the right combination of skills, strengths and a common goal in mind is key. Giveaway responsibility and authority isn’t always easy. But in order to achieve greatness, you must create a culture of optimism. Stay positive but remember to be fearless. I always want the best for myself and my team! we should grow as a collective. That's why I am so persistent! My father once told me, it may sound strange but persistence bears resistance. And after starting my own company and taking several losses I've learned two major things. 1. GREAT THINGS TAKE TIME 2. YOU MUST BE PERSISTENT NO MATTER WHAT! So we must be willing to go above and beyond where others tend to stop. This was very insightful for me, it helped me understand and see the importance of things. All you have to do is pay attention, let it be a quality of your character. When your insight is right, you look like a genius. And when your insight is wrong, you look like an idiot and I looked like both several times.

If people aren’t aware of your expectations, and they fall short, it’s really your fault for not expressing it to them. Although it can be a tough task to accomplish! I am not one to talk much but the people I work with are in constant communications with me via multiple means. If you are not one to talk much learn to balance out the relevancy of the topic/subject or matter. It’s super important to treat work as a collaboration. We should always want people to tell us their thoughts and ideas. This is what character is, this is accountability, it’s not only taking responsibility, it’s taking the next step. So remember to be relentless when it comes to your passion and goals for 2017. It takes real individuals to find the strength within each person. It’s best to believe that your team alone does not have all the answers— because if you believe that, it usually means you’re not asking all the right questions. I hope I am leaving you with thoughts and ideas, maybe even a few QUESTIONS!LESFLO Let's GO!
